Marketing and Customer Experience Lead, Part-time

ABOUT US 

Claverton Cloches make exquisite cast-iron garden cloches, identical to those found in Victorian-era walled gardens. We started in 2020, sending our cloches from our Bath workshop to gardens across the UK, EU, USA and further afield, and our cloches are now used in some of the most prestigious gardens in the country. We are predominantly an ecommerce company, and have exciting and ambitious plans for new product lines this year, underpinned by the same passion for beauty and quality that we set out with.

JOB OVERVIEW 

We are looking for a friendly, hard-working and enthusiastic person to join our small team and support the day to day running of the business, with a focus on marketing and customer experience. Working closely with the founder, you will create and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns spanning print and digital media to drive website sales. You will also be a key point of contact for our web customers, using those conversations to improve the customer experience.

This is a varied,  broad and collaborative role for a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and excellent communication skills.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creating and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy, including print and digital media within a budget 

  • Analysing and reporting on ad performance across channels and using insights to refine campaigns

  • Planning content for social media channels

  • Understanding the end-to-end customer journey, from advertising to delivery, and ensuring our brand voice is communicated clearly throughout whilst also identifying areas for improvement 

  • Working alongside the founder to plan and execute photoshoot / video campaigns

  • Responding to inbound customer and trade enquiries 

  • Communicating with the workshop team and our customers to ensure cloches arrive safely and on time, and resolving any queries in a timely manner


WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO

  • Has 2-3 years experience, preferably in a marketing role

  • Is a strong verbal and written communicator

  • Is confident running GoogleAds, Meta ads, and email campaigns

  • Has an ability to understand customer needs, wants and pain points

  • Is a creative thinker who enjoys solving problems

  • Has a sharp eye for detail

  • Experience working alongside home / garden / luxury lifestyle products desirable 

  • Adobe Illustrator or similar desirable

  • Is passionate about beautiful home and garden products and understands the brand positioning

DETAILS

  • 2.5 days per week, ideally across 4 days, with some flexibility on timings

  • £28,000 FTE

  • Potential to develop into a full-time role

  • This role is largely remote / home-based but please note the requirement to travel to our workshop/office in Bath around 1-2 times per fortnight

  • A driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferable for occasional visits to customers and on location photo shoots

  • Must have right to work in the UK
