Our chicory forcer is based on a design that we spotted at a French antique market - we have added our own twist with an acorn finial as an ode to the English oak tree.

The forcers are hand-thrown by our friend, Willow Pottery, based just one mile from our workshop and made of beautiful terracotta which will age and develop patina over time. Besides being used to force chicory - giving the leaves a pale appearance and creamier taste - they add whimsy and structure to vegetable beds.
